You are studying to be an attorney, and the best you can do is come up with that lame argument. I know you are much better read and more intelligent from reading some of your other post. Making generalizations about weather is significantly different that making generalizations about ones character or manners.

Wouldn't one from the South be proud of the fact that we are friendly and courteous to others as opposed to someone that belittled others just because they are from a different place?

Oh come on - That is not generalizations. It is vindictive and ugly, and not what I or you consider a Southern Genleman or Lady.

Up until your post, I considered most of this thread somewhat humerous with a slight dark side to it. Think of how we feel when someone from another part of the country says we are slow or even stupid just because we are from the South. Not everyone from other parts say that either, but we know some with ignorant views have made that broad brush generalization.

Lets not stoop to that level ourselves.
