me butting in with a suggestion. I realize I am not involved other than my love for animals. It also means I love your pets and don't want to see them harmed by a stray.

Please visit or call your local humane shelter and ask them for advice. I have heard of places that would loan out various size have-a-heart type traps. They may also be able to recommend a local service that assist with the capture of animals.

If it attack then yes, shoot it. Otherwise, please pursue a humane approach. It is not the animal's fault - it is the fault of certain ignorant and sorry a$$ed humans..
