Found an outfit in Pensacola, coming to lake to pick up the boat and then return within 7 days. Been in business for 30+ years.
Price includes 3 year warranty - and lets just say with performance modifications less than $3,500. I will still call Dee Dee tomorrow and give her the company's name for future reference. Also have checked out several dealers and customers they have down business with all satisfied and one dealer has had about 12 engines rebuilt for his customers down in West Palm within the past 6 months and not a single failure. They specialize in Mercs, but do others as well.

Have not figured out why powerhead blew as just the #1 Piston and all plugs / rings have oil. I am thinking a misfire or an injector issue, but that is part of the service. What he does is as follows:
