Well some dufus in the Costco book department seems to have stepped in it big time. Talk about being ill informed and ideological. But no, this isn't censorship. You can get the book at a multitude of other places. This is just a dumb business decision that will cost Costco tens of millions of dollars as many of their customers will go elsewhere. But over time they will be back because regardless of the leftist leanings of their CEO they provide good products at competitive prices. And unlike left wing nuts and far too many on the right these days I am not going to boycott them although I will think twice about a purchase there if I can get it elsewhere. But I buy from Amazon all the time and they are run by leftists. There are better ways to get the message out........just let them try their failed ideology every 25 or 30 years and that pretty much takes care of it.
Interestingly, I went to costco.com today and their site seems to be down. I know they have been inundated by complaints and it makes me wonder if they crashed or took the site down to wait out the furor they have created. Probably a smart idea if its the latter although it could cost them in sales.
