It never ceases to amaze me the prognosticators of doom for the political party currently in the dumps. Go and look back at 2006 and 2008 and all the predictions about the death of the GOP for the most recent example. Politics waxes and wanes like pretty much everything else and the American people will one day decide to take another chance on Dems. No doubt the Democrats have dug a deep hole but the GOP has been in similar dire straights not that long ago and now are ascendant. It will not last forever and they may in fact take a beating in 2016 if Dems put up a good candidate for POTUS and some of their favored constituencies decide to vote for them again.
Which is not to say we should not thoroughly enjoy the outcome because we have finally gelded the already half gelded WOTUS. And enjoy the bleating of the hypocrites on the left calling for us to work together and compromise and all the things they refuse to do when in power. I say to them, "We won, you lost...so stick it in your ear". Dang, that felt good.
