While I'm not sure that the 1M immigrants that come here are all the best and brightest, the ones from India are.  Regardless of the numbers, the reason those bright people that come to the U.S. don't stay home to "fix" the problem is they understand the utter futility of it given the corrupting power of government, the utter failure of socialism (even democratic versions) and the immense scope of the problem of poverty.  They also see something here that we take for granted and that is the power of freedom from government.  That is something the Democrats try to take away with every breath they take.

What I would like to see this guy do is to use the same gumball method to demonstrate how legal and lillegal immigration can impact our body politic.  If he did this he would demonstrate why Democrats are for open borders.  While the country will become poorer they will accumulate more power and wealth because a significant majority of these immigrants are always going to vote for the politician that will give them goodies.  Same is true for elite liberals and CEOs screaming for cheap labor.  Who cares what happens to the country over the long run as long as I get mine.  Just look at what is happening in Europe in their quest to import labor to pay for their socialism.  Non-assimilation, high birth rates, crime, disease, terrorism.......all to pay for the socialism the fat, dumb and clueless Europeans have come to expect from their government.
