Of course subject to revisions and all that, but Q4 2018 was stronger than expected and the year ended at 3.1%.  Another economic win for Trump. 

Of course in a normal world having such strong GDP would send stocks upward but such is not the case.  It stokes fears that the Fed will see inflation lurking under every rock and will resume with the rate hikes.  At least the markets didn't immediately tank because the consensus is that the Fed is still neutral on the economy.  If we have stronger than expected GDP in Q1 2019 that could change.  But of course, according to Goofy we should all know exactly what the Fed is going to do long before hand so we will wait and see what Nostradomus has to say......
