Inflating assets for insurers is not a crime as far I know....or at least I hope not because it is very common in business. All it does is increase your rates due to overinsurance. And it is up to the insurer to audit it so they don't undervalue assets and get stuck paying for more than they got premium for. And Cohen said he did this to inflate his total value to make him look more wealthy. So this is really all about his ego, which we all know is important to him.
More omoinous is if he inflated assets to get loans. So Occasional Cortex still was on the wrong track but at least closer to being able to score some political points to the extent that any Trump voter cares whether he's worth $4B or $9B......which I doubt.
