This is what happens when you are desperate for money, which we know was the case with the creepy porn star lawyer.  His life was cratering all around him and it appears he made a flailing attempt to solve all his financial woes in one fell swoop by trying to extort Nike.  But here's what I don't get.  The Revs Sharpton and Jackson, the SPLC and other activist groups have been extoring money from corporations for decades.  How come all the sudden Avenatti is getting indicted for doing this?  I assume that it must be because Trump colluded with Nike (ya know, cause they are big supporters of his) to entrap the scumbag lawyer. /sarc off

What is more interesting is his so far unindicted co-conspirator Mark Geragos, the Hollywood lawyer and cnnBS contributor...er, um...."former" contributor.  Why the heck would he be dumb enough to get entangled with an obvious scumbag lawyer like Avanetti?  Makes no sense to me unless he was just being greedy or Avanetti lied to him about the case.

As a final note, anyone that follows college basketball like I do understands the scam show going on with the shoe and apparely companies and the AAU.  Went to a talk by a Div 1 college basketball coach and he pretty much admitted that since they weren't a Nike program that all the Nike sponsored AAU players were pretty much out of reach for them.  I knew about the program but was shocked to learn that a Nike AAU kid would never go to an Adidas college.  That struck me as patently unfair.
