Jenk, I tend to agree with ric. If you'll look at the number of advertisers on the home page, and think about each of them posting multiple times, to include lists of services available, the forum would become essentially unusable and worthless.

I have no problem with an occasional plug to let folks know what is out there -- I've seen Cat occasionally mention what he can do for folks, especially if it has to do with "home delivery" winterizing and summerizing trips to the lake - and just recently there was someone has been posting that they do upholstery -- appropos in light of the recent hail storms and as much a public service as an advertisement.

In my opinion (which isn't worth very much according to my wife) I'd love to see a post saying "hey, we just opened a new oyster bar in the ( ) area. Come check out our menu at www.xxx.com. We will be open x to y beginning xx month". In such a case responses to questions by other posters would be fine - but posting an entire menu or complete list of services should be left to their advertisement and/or web site.
