Today, Sunday Sept. 27th CAT has challenged said Jason Parker of Tallassee Alabama to a race on the Alabama River. As of press time, Parker had accepted above challenge and has began preperations on his race boat as of 7:00am this morning at an undisclosed location in Montgomery, Al.. The race course will start at the I-65 Alabama river bridge and end just south of Millbrook Alabama. The course will cover approx. 1.5 miles. Speeds should be excessive, tensions will be running high. As Parker prepares his 1991 SeaRay 270 cruiser, powered by a pair of Mercruiser 4.3ltr. V-6 engines, CAT has began preparations of his 1994 Wellcraft 30ft. MonteCarlo Cruiser powered by a pair of Cathouse Performance 5.0 ltr. 200 hp. V-8 Mercs. "All this adds up to some serious power", says Parker! "We're looking at around 750 total horsepower between both boats, thats some serious stuff", he claims. Employess gathered at Cathouse Marine about dawn this morning to discuss the strategy and tuning proceedures for the cruiser. Speeds are expected to be somewhere in the 40 mph range, and tensions are running high. "We'll do the best we can, push the thottles up and hope we don't trash a drive with all that power", says CAT. Race time is set for sometime around 2:30pm this afternoon. ESPN coverage begans at 2:00pm.
