I am not suppossed to know this, but I do.  I have it from a very reliable source that a huge development is coming near DARE Park.  Why the secrecy is my question?  Our coutny commisssion is as crooked as the day is long.  There is NO transparency, every discussion ends up in executive session where the decisions are made.  

When all the votes are unanimous it is not a deliberatve body, it is a rubber stamp of someones agenda.  The real question is whose agenda?

I have a feeling that this post will end up being taken down when certain persons find out about it.  

Ask your commisioner what is Margativille.

I don't know if it is an actual franchised Margaritaville or not.  I do know it includes marina and campgrounds and is a BFD. Youngs Ferry Road is certain to get very busy and large development like this will affect property values.  Some will go up, but others will go down I believe.

Don't get me wrong, I am pro-developemnt and have no problem with this project, just the under handed and secretive way it has been done. But that is the way all Tallapoosa County business is done. It's a shame we don't have reporters willing to dig into who has/is/ or is going to make money on the project.  I have no problem with the property owner cashing in to the tune of 4.5 million for the approximately 40 acres.  I just hope he keeps hanging the flag every year!
