If they win the Sugar Bowl, all you Dawg fans will get a chance to purchase the players jerseys and helmets on Ebay. That's what they do in Georgia when the rare victorious season comes around. Have a fire sale. Proud bunch over there.

Congrats, that gets you a match-up with West Virginia. How exciting. No matter who else you beat that beat us, Ga. is still our b!tch. Oh yeah, since you are throwing out all this irrelevant stuff, Auburn still has the best SEC record, 9 and 1. Ga. 10 and 2. you do the math.

Not a football expert but who would Auburn have been matched up with in the Sugar Bowl if they had won the sec west and had won the sec title game? Wouldn't it be the same team? West Virginia.

Yes, it would have been West virginia. Since you're not a football fan, don't be fooled by all the hype and excitement you get from the Dawg fans. They'll crawl back under their rock faster than they came out, that's foshizzle. Have a garage sale first though. Wanna buy a helemt?

At least the Dawgs got to go to the Big Game with a chance to win the Big Show (which we did). We're not like Auburn......staying at home picking their nose and telling coach wingnut what a great coach he is. Couldn't get in the really Big Game last year with a perfect record and couldn't get in the SEC Championship this year. I think you need to get rid of coach wingnut. Oh by the way, good luck against mighty Wisconsin with their 9 and 3 record.

Georgia's bowl game opponent will be Virginia Tech who will drop in ranking after their loss to FSU on Saturday. They'll be alongside Wisconsin somewhere in the bottom 20, if they don't fall out of the top 20. So, I wouldn't be laughing about Auburn playing Wisconsin. VT just lost some status, even if they are ACC champions.

Are you a blond??? The bowl groupings came out Sunday afternoon. Georgia will be playing 10 and 1 West Virginia and not Virginia Tech as you stated.Take a few minutes and get some coffee and do a little reading in the sports section. Things like this happen when you hang out with too many Auburn fans. GO DAWGS!!!!!!!!
|
The leg-humpers will be playing West Virginia. Should be an easy win for the leg-humpers.
As for the SEC records of Auburn and ugag, Auburn is 7-1 and ugag is 7-2. And let's not forget - Auburn 31, ugag 30.
You leg-humper fans sure sound proud of your team. You might want to reconsider the season you had. You lost 2 out of 3 to your biggest rivals and backed into the championship game. Ugag's only impressive win of the year was against LSU in the championship game. And if you lose to West Virginia, you should be kicked out of the SEC.

You must be the blond's husband. All that matters is that we went to the championship game while the baby tigers stayed at home. I guess the next thing you Auburn whinning eagles will say is that we do not belong in a BCS bowl while the great 9 and 2 whinning eagles go to a non-BCS bowl.

***not a real blonde...so I must be a stupid brunette. (or is that an oxymoron? )
|
Of course you deserve to go to the sugar bowl. And no, Auburn does not deserve a BCS bowl. I'm just saying that you leg-humpers are a little too proud of a slightly above-average season. If Auburn lost to ugag and bammer and somehow backed into the championship game, I would still be pretty ticked that we lost to our rivals.
It's just amazing to me that you leg-humpers can still talk trash to Auburn fans even though AUBURN BEAT GEORGIA. You can trash talk till you're blue in the face, but nothing you can say can top this - Auburn 31, leg-humpers 30.

I may not be correct on the Virginia teams, but I will say :
BLOND - is the masculine version for flaxen colored hair. (so blond's husband wouldn't be correct unless you are referring to a gay couple and then the "masculine" would come into question. LOL)
So, technically, you guys should have spelled it BLONDE, as I did...the feminine version. So....I may be incorrect on the teams, but you are incorrect on verbage.
Score: YOU - 1 BLONDE - 1
Want to go for another round? :) Sincerely, jawjaGAL - get it? GAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Funny, it seems a few weeks ago the Dawg Nation was calling for Richt's job, questioning his play calling, time management and advising that he hire an offensive coordinator. Believe me, all of Atlanta heard the fickle fan base complain for 3 weeks on sports radio. Enjoy Richt while you can. The minute Daddy Bowden retires, Richt says goodbye to "never enough" Dawg fans.

You know.......maybe the Dawg Nation can borrow the same jet that the Whinning Eagle Nation flew around in when they were trying to get rid of Coach Wingnut a couple of years ago.
|
The fanbase did not want Tuberville gone.
This site shows the latest coaches poll, and you can see each coach's individual ballot. Be sure to check out where your beloved coach ranked Auburn and Georgia. Your own coach thinks Auburn is better than the leg-humpers. Do you disagree?
Dang I hate this debate - if only the 2 teams could settle it on the field......oh wait! They did! Auburn 31, leg-humpers 30.

I know some of you Georgia fans are new to the area ... so let me clue you in to a couple of things .... the rivalry between Auburn and Alabama has gone on for so long that all we used to really care about was ... who won the Iron Bowl? Most Auburn fans would rather win one game against Bama and lose all of the rest of the games, rather than win every game except Bama. And Bama fans felt mostly the same way.
Now, thanks to the way some of you Georgia fans have acted (and in Bama's case how Tennessee fans have acted) .. we now judge our season based on whether or not we beat Bama and the Dogs ... so for Auburn fans, 2005 was a GREAT year!
War Eagle!

JustAGuy......please tell me how the Georgia fans have acted to make you Auburn fans lower your standards to where you're happy if you win only one or two games. I, as a dawg fan, hope I am never satisfied with a win over Georgia Tech, the Gators or even Auburn. The Bulldog Nation will NEVER think we had a good season with a couple of wins. I feel sorry for any fan that is satisfied with anything less than a perfect 12 and 0 saeson.

is the final ranking at the end of the season. Stepping outside of regional rivalries, this is where the nation (and our coaches (if they are competitive)) judge each team's season. Glad my Tigers are coming to me this year in Orlando. However, I will also be pulling for the Dawgs in the Sugar. After both show the nation how it's done in the SEC, we'll see what the final rankings are for bragging rights.

In today's Atlanta Journal Constitution, it reads on page E4, "For the first time, the 62 college football coaches who vote each week in the USA Today poll agreed to make their ballots public. A look at the final regular-season votes of four head coaches of area interest :" and it shows their pictures and who they voted....and Mark Richt voted this way:
1. Southern Cal 2. Texas 3. Penn State 4. Ohio State 5. Oregon 6. Aurburn 7. Georgia
Listen Dawg fans, your own coach thinks Auburn is better than Georgia.
The other coaches that were listed were Phillip Fulmer (he put Auburn # 6 and Georgia #8), Steve Spurrier (he puts Georgia #4 and Auburn #6) and Bobby Bowden (he puts Auburn #9 and Georgia #12.)
