Yes, there are old roads on the lake bottom. We found an old map and went looking and found old house foundations with the sonar. During the clearing of the lake I have heard that the Power Co. had to remove the roof of a building before burning otherwise it was considered arson.
Another interesting story I was told was that when the graves had to be moved from the lake bed it had to be done at night because they didn't want the occupant to wake up and think it was resurection morning!

Have seen roadbeds, and the house foundations referenced in previous post. Also an iron bridge which is not charted... BTW, most "roads" at that time will not be discernable, except for the occasional unusual "cut" into the "hillside". Oh, I forgot, I also ran into a waterwell which by my best judgement was still producing ;-)
