Hi, I have just bought an old pontoon boat and I am working on it while in the water at my pier. I have noticed the water naturally heading down this week, but also have noticed on the day to day level Monthly chart, that it has remained at 463 for on into next week, in the years past.

I need to hustle I know, but does anyone know if it will maybe hover at 463 for the next week? My pier is in shallow water, and don't want to get caught on bottom.

Thanks, Mike

Wow. Don't everybody talk at once. I can't handle all this feedback. Glad I wasn't in need of something really important like what can I put on this rash on my bum?

I think this year it's going to 460. Last year it stayed at 462 due to the drought. I have not been in here to read anything in almost a year. As for the rash,,,, see a Dr.

Thanks for the feedback. Luckly I got the boat out in time, repaired the motor with coils and plug wires, and SeaFoam'd the fuel sytem. Ready and going out today actually and fish some, and enjoy this beautiful day on the lake.

The Baby's but got better . .   ;-)

Glad you got it out - I dont think its stopping, last year was just for the drought, and have not heard any updates to the rule curve for next year - it was nice as I had water under the pier vs dirt more last year.

Normal winter level probably can not throw a rock and hit the water from the pier, it sucks but knew what it was when we bought it.

As for the rear end - I really didnt need to see that.  But Tractor Supply is opening in the old Kmart this wekeend and carry anti monkey butt powder or the pink bottle for the ladies.

You know, I have a neighbor that lives nearby, and he has always claimed to have people, as he called it, at Alabama Power, and that he has a leg up on the Logan Martin Lakes water info.

This guy told me last year, that he had been told that the Army Corp. of Engineers had granted Alabama Power the right to leave the lake at full pool, with the exception being November. That the one month would be for dock and seawall repairs.

I sure was hoping, No#1, that he was for real and a straight shooter, NOT, and that the level would stay up. Sure would be nice. I guess theirs always next year.

Yea, regret the rash pic. My boy won't appreciate it one day either, his mom don't.   :(
