I've seen some comments about the docks at Russell Crossroads. How far does one have to walk from these docks to whatever is in Russell Crossroads? I haven't been by the Crossroads since it was just a construction site near Hwy 63, so I had the impression it was going to be about a half mile from the nearest water.

They have a golf cart shuttle running from the docks to the Springhouse 10 - 10. It would quite a haul to walk it though.

If I were to be coming from Parker Creek by boat how would I get to the docks?

Leave Parker Creek and head toward the bridge. Just before the narrow section (before the Kowalgia big water) hang a left. Ease into those sloughs and look for the big water tower. Head straight toward the water tower and you will see the docks. Kizma is right, there are many "no wake" buoys.
