In order to stay out of the madhouse and see, you had better have a set of 20x X 80's, then it would appear that he were just across the state....

I was at last years AquaPalooza and it was pretty well organized.
There were drunks. And, as long as they did not start there boat they were fine. Then you had the people that can't drive anything, they were a factor. The Harbor Police at the last one were pretty fair. They put it to the ones who needed it and they gave a pass for the honest mistake.

You get 3000 Boats in a small area and there are going to be problems.

If you don't want to be in the mess. don't go. If you want to be part of AquaPalooza. Get in there and show the ones on the news and in the photos how it was. Show them that a boat party is more than a bunch of drunks. Show them it's people who love the lake and are calm and responsible. I know there will be the Yahoos up by the stage tossing a beach ball and using fowl language. But when the local news runs clips and sound bites, let them see the lake is more that a party spot.

If it's a bust they will not come back and a great deal of money and publicity will be lost. It's up to us to make this thing shine and be our brothers keeper, we are after all the locals.

I know to some the lake is there community and they want to keep it a secrete lake, but this will bring a national eye on Lake Martin.

This lake is to often seen as that lake were the hicks and Hank hung out and played. Sea Ray has made this a great event and get in there and make the population of the even a responsible one. This is going to be good for the lake... Help be a part of it... The Marine Police will do there job. Has no one seen all the MP boats staged at Wind Creek? Don't be a "Nero" and fiddle around as Rome burns.

I am not saying get in there and get your boat beat up in the raft-up but don't kill this once in a lifetime event.

Well said. This has the potential to be as large as July 4th is to our lake. I am getting a ton of people interested in coming here because of it. Sure like to see Lake Martin portrayed in a very positive light.

RR, that sure is a lots of women hangin' out on docks. Might even rip a couple of those floating docks loose and wind up in some slough somewhere. You know, there have been reports of missing docks on the forum.
