Not a rodeo guy... just watched a couple of movies.

There are no idiots on this forum. There is an important piece of advice that I wish to extract form the Desiderata,
“…Speak your truth quietly and clearly; and listen to others,
even to the dull and the ignorant; they too have their
story.”

We have no authority to assign labels of “dull” and “ignorant”… or “idiot” for that matter. We make these assignments based upon our perception of our place in the argument. More times than not, we feel we are in the superior position.

…which leads me to borrow again from the Desiderata,
“If you compare yourself with others, you may become vain or
bitter, for always there will be greater and lesser persons
than yourself.”

Intellectual vanity is the visage of a closed mind. You are the sum of your experiences. Have more experiences.
