Big difference between having health insurance and having healthcare. We WILL have a serious shortage of Medicare assigned providers when their pay schedule is dropped, why in the he!! would someone go through the school and residency pain if they would NOT see substantial financial gains? As far as “trust the Government” – how long have you been living off the rest of us? Those trustworthy people have been stealing 15% of my money for 30 years, telling me that I can trust them to keep it for me until I need it. I have not quite hit 50 yet, and if I get anything it sounds like it will be pennies on the dollar. Check how well the socialized medicine is going elsewhere. As a nation, we have access to the best care and shortest wait times for that service. Go to Europe and experience the delays and rationed service before you jump for joy – there are two levels of care available there, the Government and private – but I don’t guess you looked into that. I miss the days of personal responsibility and when more people knew that fair is a place you go to ride a pony, not what life is supposed to be.
