Hound, while I tend to agree with you on this (which is why I supported Romney despite his being a Mormon), I think everyone has a right to decide what makes a candidate acceptable to them or not don't they? I mean, if you have the right to oppose McCain because of his stance on Iraq I assume you would support the right of someone to oppose Obama, or maybe support another candidate, because of their religious beliefs. We all have a right to decide what is important to us vis-a-vis a political candidate we decide to support or not, right?

So if a candidate refuses to discuss his views on religion, which he has every right to do, then a person who believes religious views are important has every right to not support that candidate, correct? Just like you have the right to decide that a candidates religious views are of no interest to you in your decision making.
