I guess I was thinking about the tone of the hatred against the Jews. I wasn't likening our country to pre-WW II. Okay, I'll give you another example -- Rwanda. Certain people took advantage of fears and some long standing political situations and through repetition drummed up a genocide.
Now MM, I know a lot about Rwanda and it's history. But when hate and distrust and blame is continually reinforced, the psychological results can be devastating.
What about Eastern Europe?

I don't like hatred no matter who is spouting it. I'm fine with difference of opinion, different politics, different visions. But to repeatedly play on people's fears and create hatred is just wrong no matter who is doing it. What I heard the other day went way beyond prompting a political solution by voting their beliefs.
