Amen, Trapper. We continue to have an influx of city folks that expect things to be like a suburb of Atlanta. If some would take the time to learn what to do, how to take care of themselves and the lake, we would all be better off. However, some are thinking they can carry on just like always and wonder about us, that have been on rivers and lakes most of our lives. To them, we are the ones they look curiosly upon. Now I'm not talking about all or even most of them. But there sure seems to be a disconnect that gets worse every year.
It's understandable that a lot of people who have been on the lake for years now have their property for sale or listed with a broker.
Now I'm not saying the uninformed should be packing heat. As a matter of fact, it would not make me feel very comfortable if they did.
