Is there a problem with the high mortality rate for stripers?
They are not native to our waters. They supposedly were put into the lakes
to control shad populations (Like we needed threadfins). Now they are a big hit
with tourists and people that don't know how to fish.
Give me a break. Go to Maine or Massachusetts to catch the trash fish.
We don't need them.
