Well the heavily democrat and black district of NYC, with the highest unemployment rates in all of New York, rewarded the corrupt Rangel with a primary win and is nearly assured a victory in November with 82% of the distric democrats.

Despite the very high jobless rate in the district, they people stood by the hand that is feeding them with government handouts rather than someone that would provide a helping hand and not a handout.  It is so sad that the people don't see that the goal of most democrats is to keep people down and have them look to government as their savior and not to help them support themselves.

That is why the battle cry this November will be that Republicans want to keep tax cuts for all and the democrats are crying they only want to help the rich .... but:

1.  The democrats were against the tax cuts when they were implemented and would only agree is they expired.
2.  They wanted them "all" to expire" it has only changed recently and are still not in favor of making the permanent so they would have to implement a tax increase in the future rather than just having them expire.
3.  The 3% "rich" they talk about are 70% small business owners that employ 35% of all people ... so will that help or hurt unemployment?
4.  $200,000 is far from "rich", upper middle class maybe depending on where you live, and what is wrong with success.   That 3% already pays 90% of the taxes ... how much should they pay?
