btw...the average cost to process a deer at a good deer processor is around $75.

also....if you encounter a deer on the road, don't swerve to miss it. Hitting an animal is covered under your comprehensive coverage. Most insurance companies won't hit you for additional premiums for minor losses under your comprehensive coverage. However, if you swerve to miss a deer and run off the road and hit a tree, that's covered under your collision coverage - same as if you rearend someone. Insurance companies will ding your rates.
