Archie, I may have been giving you more credit than you actually deserved for that post. You actually think al Queda will think less of our form of government if we have an occasional battle over budgets and send a few people home for a couple of weeks?!?! Man are you invincibly ignorant and have even less sense than Barney if you really believe that.

Islamofascism is more than just another opinion about what constitutes good governance. They could give a hoot in hades about whether we shut down, whether we use a parlimentary system, whther it takes 60 votes in the Senate to get cloture, etc. They are stuck in the 6th century and have a demented view of modernity and they would love to turn to back the clock and implement Sharia law. They don't need some excuse like this to justify their warped and demented world view. Objectively anyone with half a brain can see the vast benefits of a truly representative republic based on Judeo-Christian ethics over Islamic rule and yet that has no bearing on their actions or their beliefs.

Honestly Archie, I will admit to being dense in that I never would have conceived of something so patently silly and I really gave you too much credit in thinking you were just parroting Barney Frank's stupidity. That line of thinking is beyond amazing.......it makes absolutely no sense, zero, nada......
