I saw the woman from Texas on one of the morning shows before the hearing. I couldn't make sense of what she was saying. I wasn't quite sure what her point was.

You have to wonder about the agenda of some of these hearings. I sometimes think that some of the members have no interest in actually hearing the testimony, but just see it as a platform for their preconceived notions, hence the 20 minute "question".
I agree with you, it is disappointing and disturbing. I have sometimes come away wondering about the sanity of our representatives, and I don't think it is necessarily limited to one party or the other... except those people from California... they are almost always irate.
