Way too early for FRESH corn. If you pay $.50 an ear for corn today, you can bet it is not fresh corn, and tastes likewise. Just like "Vine Ripe" tomatoes in January, or "garden Fresh" sweet potatoes in August, or "Sugar Sweet" peaches in April?
Nope. Not.
As painful as it is, just wait for the season to provide the good stuff, locally.
