Republicans better wake up too. This is not a time for political posturing and playing to the base. Republicans need to realize that the Ryan budget is not going to be embraced in toto, and get down to serious negotiation. It's not just another political game.

It's pretty sad that there is no confidence that our politicians cannot deal and solve the problem. That's telling on both sides. We're on the way down, and they are fighting about NRP and Planned Parenthood. It's time to rally the country to make sacrifices about entitlements and taxes. Even Alan Greenspan says it's time to let the Bush tax cuts expire.
