If you can afford it then I have to say Spring House at Russell Crossings makes the most amazing dishes. Chef Rob and his staff are so meticulous from polishing the silver to preparing the meals. You need to send off for the Rosetta Stone Language course to actually read the wine menu or you can request the waitress "Lacey" who knows everything about wine, how to explain it and what it goes good with. Spring House is definitely a 5 star restaurant.
Also for Chinese I recommend "MK's Asian Restaurant at Tiger Town in Opelika. A small place but the chef is amazing.
