Wedowee is pretty much a town in need of much upgrade ,it has a lot going for it in land and beauty-with plenty of nature,It is a shame that they want to dumb the people down by not building a library,not allowing a wal-mart or other businesses to increase jobs and bring more money to the town.I realize that many of the Wedowee shops think
that if they allow Wal-mart to come into their little town,that they will lose their businesses..what businesses? i mean really,all the hype on lake Wedowee,does not mean a whole lot when you have to travel 20 miles to go to a good store..if they want Wedowee to improve they need to get busy! because the way wedowee is going it may end up a ghost town..
I would like the Mayor of this small town to build a good hospital for Wedowee -The one we have now looks like a animal clinic..we need a walmart and other stores..places to eat..they need to want it to be more pleasing to live in Wedowee than what they keep it-then more people will buy property on lake Wedowee.The poor people look so sad all the time..not like other places where people have places to go ..there also should be a water park and more parks of some kind,,and a ywca..and that is all things that
would help get this place back on track for the better..as well as a large church in Wedowee-Holy Ghost filled teaching.I might as well add..there is so much that needs to be done to better Wedowee..Change for this place is needed right now!Those that do not want change for the better simply are not thinking about anyone but themselves.It really makes a person think what are they doing with the money needed to better this place-not even a decent libray-it is terrible the way they are letting this place go
down. The people of Wedowee are tired of traveling 20-30 miles either to Anniston or Roanoke to hoping not to brake down in their car or truck on the way.The people of Wedowee should be protected better than this by providing closer shops ect..The people are not being treated fairly in many ways in Wedowee and are having to do without ,while other counties have what they need and we have to go to them to get what we need-It has been time for a better change for Wedowee,lets make it an even better place for people to come and live..and that is my 2 cents..
