Subject:   More fiscally conservative than me?!?!?

I know most on this forum are fiscally conservative. And you are correct that we likely only differ in opinion on military and foreign spending. I do not think that Iran should be contained...it should have already been invaded and destroyed more than 5 years ago. Our military should be used to defeat our enemies; not police the world and occupy defeated countries for the hopes of winning their hearts and minds. The military budget should go toward defense of our borders and the technology to ensure that no other country is our equal. If a country threatens our security they should pay the price...like Afghanistan and Iraq did initially...but then the U.S. decided to pay the price on their behalf. So I find it difficult to accept that spending a trillion dollars on these two countries is the fiscally conservative approach.
