If you follow this small web site you might find things interesting. There are many veterans still needing your help. The VA is offering very limited help to veterans of the Viet Nam era.

I had one of my comrades call me Easter Sunday Evening. We had not met or talked in over 40 years. He is having both hearing problems and a knee problem. He is now 67 years old and the VA has disapproved his claims for a small disability. He and I were both blown off an Armored Personnel Carrier (different times) in Nam. His claim is that he suffered sever hearing loss from the explosion and the injury to his leg as a result of the explosion and the concussion to his leg. The same has happened to me. The VA routinely disapproves such claims unless they can find a service connected disability at time of separation linked back to the incident or established as time of your separation physical. He has asked me as a fellow comrade to help him justify his claim which has already been disapproved once. This man was my Company Commander. I was a lieutenant.

I have filed two clams though the the Va which have been disapproved. One for agent orange exposure (Systemic Hear Disease) and the other for hearing Loss though combat operations.

All of the above stated, what are your thoughts. We need some help. Lamar
