About a month ago I test drove a 1995 Caravelle with a 3.0 Mercruiser. It ran great for at least an hour during the test drive so I bought it to use until the lady re-upholstering my boat finally decides to finish (that's another story). Anyway, I brought the Caravelle home and launched it. She ran great for about 15 minutes then bogged down as if she were out of gas. Thanks to the assistance of a true Lake Martiner, I was towed home. I Made sure there was sufficient gas in it (even added about 1/2 a tank of supreme to mix with last falls left overs). After cooling off, she will crank and run fine for basically the same amount of time every time, then do the bogging down thing and eventually quit. Until it quits, it will pin your head back during "hole shots", and plane off rather quickly. Even after it bogs down, it will idle fine and even rev to at least 3000 rpm (I quit there) in neutral.

I have checked all the fuel lines and none are weak or clogged.
I have sprayed cleaner into the carb to clean it.
I have pulled the screen filter to make sure it is not stopped up.
I have replaced the fuel pump.

At this point, if someone tells me to replace the brake lights on the trailer I am willing to give it a try!!!
