The problem is that demographic is a drain on the entitlement system ... so as the other demographic shrinks, who is going to pay for all these great socialist programs.   Don't worry fish, I don't expect an answer from you since you don't respond to questions.   That just says you do not have an original thought or are capable of thinking for yourself.

I pitty people like you ... give me more, but look for someone else to pay.  Then when it ultimately fails like in Greece, Spain, Portugal, Italy, France, etc there are protests about how unfair it is that there needs to be cut backs and more people pay taxes.  

Why is it that all the socialist countries are in the worst shape?   Highest unemployment, highest tax rates.  

Look at the US and the states that are in trouble ... long time democrat leadership.  Look at the states doing well ... GOP leadership.  Look at the states turning things around ... a switch from Democrat to GOP leadership - WI and NJ to name two.
