I think what it is, based on listening to the talking heads is that deflating the dollar to avoid deflation and help exports when the economy is so weak does keep it moving along so there are positive effects. The problem happens when the economy starts running on its own (after Oblamer is out of office in November), money supply is so high, so then the feds start to reduce money supply and that has an inflationary effect.

The biggest risk with the quantatative easing is that the US dollar is the reserve currency and it is taking advantage of that position ... should the world bank remove that status you could see a complete collapse of the US dollar creating hyper inflation.
