Its that simple. Johnson can not and will not win. As distasteful as it is you have to take the lesser of two evils. You could wish all day long it wasn't true but it is. Romney/Ryan are not perfect and in fact no candidate ever is. But they are the significantly lesser of two evils and voting for a 3rd party candidate in this election is a wasted vote and in fact will help reelect Obama.

I could wax eloquent all day long about why this policy is better than that one or why Romney is more qualified, etc. but none of that matters. There is no doubt in my mind that if Romney wins he is going to do some things that will be maddening and infuriating. I completely expect it to happen. But he will also do some much needed things to get the government out of the way of the private sector so the economy can heal and he will reduce the deficit spending and if Ryan has any influence on domestic economic issues they will begin to address the entitlement train wreck that is rapidly approaching. No guarantee of success on all these fronts but there is one thing I can guarantee you with 100% certainty, Oblamer will do none of these things and when he is free from the specter of another election he is going to go wild implementing his liberal, socialist big government wet dream and it will destroy this country.

And those that decided to vote for a 3rd party candidate with no hope of winning or sit on their hands and don't vote because Romney wasn't the perfect candidate or wasn't their choice will be just as responsible as someone who pulled the lever for Obama. This is exactly what the Dems are trying to do, dampen enthusiasm by making this about a choice between two candidates instead of what it should be, a referendum on the fecklessness and failed policies of TOTUS. Please don't fall for that strategy!!!

And by the way, I am an American first, a social and fiscal conservative second and being Republican is a distant third and only because it is the only party that comes close to my political beliefs that can actually win.
