I am an American first. Social and economic conservative second. Republican comes in a distant third. But I can assure you for me this has nothing to do with party affiliation. If you gave me a socially and fiscally conservative Democrat I would vote for them. But I have never seen one.

But you are correct that this election is about anyone but Obama because is an unqualified, unmitigated disaster for this country. No apologies for my recognizing that. Frankly at this point if it were Obama v Slick Willie and I had no other choice I would vote for the latter. Only Jimmy Carter the worthless one would give me pause over TOTUS and even then, I would probably pull the lever for him.
