Basically a variation on TOTUS's Simpson Bowles commission plan which includes revenue increases and spending cuts. So all we get from the administration is a vague plan to raise taxes $1.6T (more than double what he campaigned on), hundreds of billions in more unspecified spending and vague promises on cuts sometime down the road. In response he gets a specific plan from the GOP that includes revenue increases.

Ball is now in Oblamer's court and in response I suspect he will hit the campaign trail once again demonizing Republicans as wanting to give tax cuts to the rich on the backs of the poor and middle class. Predictable result and rather pathetic......but the left wing nuts will fall for it because they are like the govt media sycophants.
