Over the years I have been a voice in support of Comlink, and basically still am. I was pleased in 1996 when I bought the little cabin to learn that there was cable TV in the area. I signed up. Some problems along the way, as with any service, but Comlink has corrected problems, and even some on weekend. Also, have internet with them.
There are times when the I think the folks behind the internet cable modem 1-800 number and the folks in Union Springs are not on the same page, but so far we have had problems fixed.
That being said, I do not think the signal strength is as strong as it used to be. We have had some internet issues over the past six months. All have been resolved, but their first guess is something in the lines in my house. I try to explain that nothing has changed there. At one point I got the cable modem 1-800 folks to agree that the signal strenght did not seem up to par, but other folks still looked inside for problem. They have put some new cable ends on a couple of lines, along with changes to the box up the utility pole. All works fine now, do not have the sound problems bamaalum described, but overall signal not as strong as it used to be. (Probably something to do with my inside lines...)
