But if the silver lining in all this is old numbers revised upward then have at it. But too early to tell?????? We are supposedly five years into a recovery!!!!! As for looking back to the Bush days, I do not recall anyone denying we were in the midst of a recession and that there were job losses. The debate was about who was responsible for the housing market collapse that led to the recession (which of course we were right about the blame being on CRA, Fannie and Freddie). And the difference then was we were talking about 700,000 people losing their jobs because of a recession. Now we have 700,000 people giving up all hope of ever finding a job, allegedly during a recovery!!! Can't you see the vast difference?
But Archie, here is the main issue. We are 5 years into the recovery and the employment picture is abysmal.....dismal is too kind a word. This is the worst recovery since FDR and it is because TOTUS is replicating all the failed policies of FDR. I give Obama voters a pass in 2008. They wanted a black guy and took a hope on change. They were war weary. McCain was a lousy candidate. The govt media did their job like the sycophants that they are. But to have reelected him in 2012 after 4 years of objectively bad results is inexcusable. And no, I am not talking about you and the other 25% of Americans that hate what this country represents and wants it cut down to size. I am talking about the others that voted for him for whatever inane reason they had. Well we have three more years before we can be rid of this pestilence. And if the voters give the House and the Senate back to the Dems in 2014, something that they are more than stupid enough to do, then he can finish the job of ruining us.
So no libtard abuse........just the facts and hard, cold reality. At least you didn't insult our intelligence by claiming the numbers were good. Now if you could find a way to figure out that Obama is a miserable failure of a president we will be getting somewhere. You can admit it Archie. You can hold him to the same standard as all the white guys that preceded him. That in and of itself does not make you a racist. They will call you one, but it's just not so. Low expectations, the soft form of bigotry......
