Make sure you do the following before buying any condo or townhome:
  1. Get an inspection and reserve replacement projection of the entire project from someone that is knowledgeable with multi-family  projects.
  2. Get a copy of the balance sheet of the association.
  3. Examine the reserves of the association to see if they make sense with #1 & 2
  4. Read the association documents.
