About a month ago I made a post regarding a project we are doing to help provide affordable housing for a young local family that is in need of a helping hand. Here is a link to the post:

The project is coming along well. After I made the original post, a few generous forum members sent emails asking if they could donate something to the cause and we are grateful for that financial help and some lightly used items that are useful. We could still use a HVAC man, but we were able to take care of most of the plumping issues on our own. For those that may want to donate, there are still many things we need and we've found that Home Depot gift cards are working the best. We've also had a few folks purchase specific items and that method also works well. Right now, we are working on replacing some floor joists and sub-flooring. We will need to purchase insulation and some windows soon. After that, we will need paint and painting supplies, fixtures, flooring, and some cabinets. Again, thanks to those that have helped or plan to help with this worthwhile project.
