While things got a bit testy between the two but I give Rand Paul kudos for reaching out to try to make nice.  Of course Christie rebuffed the offer which frankly makes him seem very small and petty (please, no jokes about the small comments vis-a-vis Christie). OK, maybe just one.....Last year they reported that during Super Bowl Sunday about a billion dollars was spent on potato chips.....and that was just at Chris Christie's house.

It may be that he is just a citizen of New Jersey but either way it makes him look bad to rebuff Rand Paul's offer to get together for a beer.  I suspect he will get some blowback and will take Paul up of his offer but never underestimate how an egomaniac can consistently do the wrong thing.
