Just going by memory (and I am bad at names);
Largest garbage was a huge tore up tarp (that could have covered a battleship) Most garbage was quite a few garbage bags full of broken glass, bottles, metal, cans, grill parts etc... Most unique garbage was something one might buy in an adult store, and awkward to explain if a child would have found it.
Included also was the usual trash, beer/soda cans, Styrofoam off floating docks, a couple of rusty old grills, dock wood with plenty of rusty nails etc...
If this event saved anyone stitches in the foot or tetanus (which I am sure it must have judging the amount of broken glass & rusty metal found) than IMHO it was very worthwhile.
Prizes included Tommy Bahama rum, fishing poles, nice custom fish glass vase, bumpers, hats, t-shirts, lunch and donuts for participants and I am sure I may have missed some things.
The prizes, food, etc..were very generous indeed but I am sure most will agree that it was about supporting the Lake Martin community and getting together for some great camaraderie. I am not usually the type to do events like this but will participate from now on.
