If you live in StillWaters, switching to AT&T for internet is something you should reconsider.  First, HIGH SPEED is NOT available. They will tell you that DSL is 750kbs… but if you EVER get that you will be lucky.  You will be lucky to get half of that!  There are long periods while NOTHING happens.  We cannot view any videos that cannot be downloaded because it takes so long to download the buffer that you get short choppy clips punctuated by minutes of downloading.  If you want to see the entire video, you’ll have to take your laptop or iPad to a neighbor who has cable. After a rain it gets worse. (This morning’s speed test was .650Mbs download / .100 Mbs upload… at that speed viewing a video is impossible.)

AT&T has no plans to upgrade their service. At least they have nothing to tell us. 

I don’t know about the communities surrounding us. Looks like HIGH SPEED internet is confined to cable service and we all know who THAT i$!

I regret having switched. I would rather have paid the cable monopoly than endure the archaic service to which I switched. DON’T YOU DO IT UNTIL YOU TALK TO A NEIGHBOR WHO HAS.
