Subject:   Supports for a floating Dock

For our floater, I sunk the posts 18-24 inches deep with a a concrete footings.   The pier is about 8x16, and stands up to waves pretty well.... however, I distributed the load on 4 seperate posts.  

Wave action is getting more problematic in our area, especially with so many boats designed to create large wakes for wakeboarding....  better to over-engineer it rather than build it twice!
