I agree his political career isn't over and whether he can win in Florida's governor race would depend a lot on who the opponent is. He is a very gifted politician and I think got some very bad advice when he joined up on the Gang of Eight thing. Many commentators believed he got past that issue in the primaries but I don't think so. But he is young and he will have plenty of time to redeem himself. Had I thought he could have won in Georgia I would have voted for him but he wasn't even in the running. The GOP establishment, whatever tha actually is, just doesn't get the anger over illegal immigration. And for sure the donor class doesn't and won't because they benefit financially.
