I guess you have been waiting for my fishing report from Potato Creek.... Cold front was moving in, wind blowing like crazy, water dropping 2" a day, muddy water and water temperature dropped from 67.5 on 3/20 to 63 degrees on 3/21 (the day we arrived)...When I looked across the water and saw few local fisherman, I knew the jig was up, neither fish nor fisherman were moving and a full moon week wasn't going to help. We trolled striper plugs on Tues. (no bites), Wed. fished crappie minnows around docks (no bites), and fished Nelson Cut for bream with crickets and wax worms and caught 5 or 6 bream barely big enough to eat. The fishing SUCKED all week but friends and food made for a memerable trip and  I'll be back when the weather is more faverable, hopelly April if the Lord's willing and the creek don't rise. See you there.
