I'm normally a Alabama fan, but I have to say that Auburn trounced Alabama fair and square yesterday.  Maybe it was being in their home stadium and it was senior day, but they definitely played a great game.  At one point, Jalen Hurts, who I admire, just stood there looking bewildered.  And Gus Malzon will retain his job for at least another year, so no going to Arkansas.

I have a lot a lot of Auburn fans as friends, so I offer them my congratulations for a game well-played and I hope they beat the stew out of Georgia again.  War Damn Eagle.   I have a friend that died a couple of years ago.  She was a huge Auburn fan and used to depend on me sending her the SEC magazines, becasue she was living in Massachusettes.  I swear I could hear her in heaven yesterday screaming WAR DAMN EAGLE.  She would have loved it.
